Service Dog Training Class Application (Fall 2026)

The deadline to apply for full consideration for the class (and to be a puppy raiser for the class) is May 13, 2026.

This will be a “by instructor approval” class limited to 20 seats in 2026. The class will meet T/Th 10:00-11:20, Corvallis Campus. 

To apply for the class, please complete the Service Dog Course application using the link below :

If you wish to be a service dog puppy raiser for the class (optional) please also complete the separate application for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines using the link below: 

At the bottom of the Puppy Raiser application in the textbox for questions please write:

I am at OSU and am interested in being a puppy raiser for the Udell class in Fall quarter 2026. 
**Include your OSU standing for academic year 2026 (e.g., graduate student, undergraduate student (first year, sophomore, junior, senior)**

There are many different ways to give:

One-Time or Recurring Monthly Gift – Individuals can always make direct contributions in support of the Human-Animal Interaction Lab. Gifts can be made online. When you get to the webpage, type in ‘Human Animal’ and select the ‘Human Animal Bond Research Lab Fund‘.

Also, checks can be made payable and sent to:

Gifts through your Retirement Account – Individuals 70.5 years of age or older may support the Human Animal Bond Research Lab fund by transferring up to $100,000 per year directly from a retirement account. For those who are 72 and older, this transfer is likely tax-free and may count as your required minimum distribution (RMD).

Other Ways to Give: The OSU Foundation also accepts and can help facilitate gifts of real estate, property, estate planning, and appreciated securities.
