Mark your calendar: April 29, 2026, is Dam Proud Day! This 24-hour giving day unites Beavers worldwide to celebrate Oregon State University, connect with each other and support the areas they care about most at OSU while unlocking challenge funds for an even greater impact.

Donation Perks and Challenges
Choose the level that feels right and make a measurable impact.
$1–49
Dog or Cat Enrichment Basket
Give $1 or more and you will be entered into a drawing to receive one of three thank you gifts: A dog or cat food puzzle, dog or cat toy bundle, or dog or cat training kit. One entry per gift made, you may donate as many times as you like!
If we win a University or College Challenge in any Dam Proud Day category we will draw an 10 additional winners at this level for every challenge won – spread the word to help activate bonus drawings!
$50–99
Cuddle Time at Heartland Humane or Sniffing Activity Access
Give $50+ for a chance to win a human-animal bonding experience. Winners will choose from a 45-minute cuddle session at Heartland Humane (local), a 45-minute dog or cat sniffer room visit (local), or dog sniffer game curriculum access (remote video & digital text). Will be offered to the first qualifying gift at this level + 5 additional drawing winners
$100–149
Custom Pet Portrait (Local)
Give $100+ for the opportunity to receive a custom pet portrait.
The first qualifying gift each hour from 9am–1pm on Dam Proud Day will receive one of five portraits
$150–199
Virtual Behavior Consultation
Give $150+ for the opportunity to receive a private, remote 45-minute behavior consultation for your dog or cat from a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist.
Awarded to the top four gifts made between 2:00–4:59pm on Dam Proud Day
$200–499
Cat Training Class or Virtual Cat Backpack Experience
Give $200+ for the opportunity to receive your choice of enrollment in an exclusive 6-week group kitten/cat training class (local) or a cat backpack with access to Cat Club training curriculum (remote). Will be offered to the first qualifying gift at this level + 5 additional drawing winners
$500–999
Imitation (DAID) Training Seminar Access
Be one of the first to donate at the $500+ level to gain access to an exclusive “Do as I Do” training seminar (virtual or local) where you will learn how to teach your dog to copy your actions on cue. Awarded to the first 10 gifts at this level.
$1000–2499
Wall of Honor
Honor a beloved animal and support ongoing work to improve human-animal relationships.
All gifts of $1,000+ will include the opportunity to honor the life of an animal that has made an impact on your life with a commemorative plaque that will be displayed at the Human-Animal Interaction lab. Awarded to all gifts at this level or above.
$2,500–4,999
Name the Big Lab
Lab Room Dedication- A unique opportunity to name one of our new behavior rooms!
This is a great way to show your support for the program and honor an animal that has changed your life, complete with a dedication plaque.
When you give a gift at this level you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to name a behavior rooms in our newly renovated lab, where many of our attachment studies and animal assisted interventions take place.
2 available total: One awarded to the top gift at this level. Second awarded based on a drawing from all additional donors at this level. Remaining donors at this level will be offered a space and plaque on the HAI Lab Wall of Honor.
